Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers
- Replaces any CBB61 series capacitor with the same 4.5µF capacitance and a 450V or lower voltage rating. The voltage rating must be equal to or greater than the original capacitor.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Designed for single-phase motors found in a variety of appliances, including:
- Ceiling fans
- Stand fans
- Wall fans
- Range hoods
- Small water pumps
- Generators
When to Replace

- Fan requires a manual push to start rotating.
- Fan speeds are noticeably slower than normal or do not change.
- Visible damage, such as bulging or leaking, on the existing capacitor.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect all electrical power to the appliance before servicing.
- Safely discharge the old capacitor before handling.
- Confirm the capacitance (µF) and voltage (V) of the new part match or exceed the specifications of the original.
- The two wires are non-polarized and can be connected in either position.
- Securely mount the new capacitor in the original housing.
