FAQs

This belt is designed for Toro Titan 54" deck zero-turn mowers, including models ZX5400, ZX5420, ZX5450, MX5400, and MX5480. It also fits various production units, including 74822, 74842, 74848, 74852, 74862, 74872, 74882, 74892, 74914, and 74924.
This belt replaces OEM part numbers 115-4971 and 133-1167.
This is a 5/8" width belt with an effective length of 175 7/8" (175.875").
You should inspect your belt if you notice uneven cutting, the mower deck vibrating excessively, or if the blades fail to engage properly. Visually check for signs of wear such as fraying, cracking, glazing on the sides of the belt, or if the belt has stretched to the point where the tensioner can no longer keep it tight.
Before installing the new belt, clean out any grass clippings or debris from the deck pulleys and spindle covers. Inspect all pulleys to ensure they spin freely without resistance or wobbling, and verify that the tensioner spring is still providing adequate pressure. A seized pulley will cause a new belt to burn out or snap prematurely.
