Installation Tips
- Disconnect all electrical power to the equipment before servicing.
- Safely discharge the existing capacitor by shorting the terminals with an insulated screwdriver.
- Note the wire placement on the old capacitor's terminals before removal.
- Ensure the replacement capacitor's microfarad (uF/MFD) rating matches the original exactly.
- The voltage rating of the replacement capacitor must be equal to or higher than the original.
