These knobs are designed for GE, Kenmore, and Hotpoint gas cooktops. They are specifically compatible with models including, but not limited to, PGP7030SL1SS and PGP9030SL1SS.
These knobs replace OEM part number WB03X29354. They also cross-reference with 4585908, AP6327766, PS12296156, EAP12296156, PD00042150, and WB03X29354-24PK.
Installation is tool-free. These knobs feature a D-shaped hole design with a graduated grip. Simply align the flat side of the knob's D-shaped opening with the flat side of the cooktop's control valve stem and push firmly into place.
The most common reason for replacement is structural fatigue or melting of the internal D-shaped insert. Because these knobs are situated near high-heat burners, the plastic housing can degrade over time, causing the knob to spin freely on the valve stem without engaging the burner control.
